Scholarship opportunities abound in aviation
A myriad of organizations offer students financial incentives

As Harvey Karth transitioned from the Blaine Airport Promotion Group to EAA Chapter 237, he presented the remaining $500 BAPG Scholarship award to Blaine High School Center for Engineering Mathematics and Science (CEMS) student Emma Butzer. Butzer is now enrolled at the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering in Minneapolis where she will pursue a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Astrophysics.
With the acute shortage of people to fill currently vacant positions in the airline industry, companies are looking for ways to draw interest to their specialty fields.
