Goodman honored with Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award

Ken Goodman, pilot for Jet Air Group has been honored with the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award from the Federal Aviation Administration. The award recognizes pilots who have demonstrated professionalism, skill and aviation expertise by maintaining safe operations for 50 or more years.

Goodman began his flying career in 1963 and has been soaring ever since. His experience over the years includes working with Green Bay Dressed Beef and Brunswick Corporation – Mercury Marine, all without incident. He was nominated for the award by pilots he has worked with throughout his career.

Goodman learned how to fly in Minnesota and still has many friends in the state.

Recipients of the Master Pilot Award are given a certificate and a lapel pin and are recognized in the FAA's Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award – Roll of Honor.
