The Engine Information System makes it easy to monitor the engine. In this photo, we are running the engine at 74% at 3200' in acordance with break-in procedure. The cylinder head temperatures are cool--we're indicating 135 statute mph at 3200' with an outside air temerature of 42 degrees F--I make that to be 145 statute mph on 12.5 gallons per hour (we don't lean on break-in). If we wanted economy power setting, we could see about 120 mph on 8.5 gph.
