Photos from: Confessions of an Air Show Announcer; From Tankers to Warbirds




After service as an airliner, PBY-5A (Bu02963) CF-GLX, went to Avalon Air at Parry Sound, ONT, as tanker 792. Still in her tanker colors, she made a cameo at Planes of Fame in May 1996 before heading to California. Later, as N322FA, it was lost in a 1997 crash.
